Recently, there has been an increase in malicious emails being sent out.
NEVER open an attachment, nor download anything, unless you are expecting a file from someone specifically. If it is possible someone has emailed out a file, contact them to verify, rather than risk an infection. Here are some examples of how convincing the emails can be; so beware! This email contained an attachment with a Trojan in it:
